Our Journey Towards Sustainability- Rethinking plastic films towards to a circular economy.

Plastic films is our business. It is crucial in packing of goods to make transport worthy, wrap food to keep it safe and protect surfaces to keep them abrasion free. It has lower carbon footprints than many alternative materials. But it has no place in oceans, rivers, streets and countryside.

We have opportunity and the responsibility – to make sure that keep our Polyethylene films within a circular economy and out of environment.

Moving towards a circular economy

At the heart of the plastic waste problem is the linear – ‘take-use-dispose’ model of consumption model which means products get manufactured, bought, used briefly, and then thrown away.

As a plastic film converting company, we are acutely aware of the causes and consequences of this linear model .

Moving towards the circular economy, we structure film to reduce consumption and make them recyclable – means less plastics in our shared environment.

Manufacturing 100% Recyclable films

When the world was busy cashing from the PVC industry, we understood the gravity of non–recyclable plastic products. Thus, since more than two decades ago we started to produce 100% recyclable products by introducing Polyethylene (PE) Films in the market.

Now, when the world has started to manufacture recyclable products, we have been working to introduce biodegradable PE–based Films in various markets.

Our mission remains very clear; we are trying to build a ladder for the world to slowly switch from the non-recyclable PVC films to more safer recyclable – PE films , healthier alternatives!

By 2025, we would be working on ‘ reduce & reuse’ strategy to overall reduce consumption of plastics:

  • Structure our film to reduce the end use consumption by 10%.
  • To use our own recycled polymer granules in our products to 20% keeping in mind that they still are food safe.
