FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Specialty Polyfilms, India, March, 20 2023: Specialty Polyfilms, a leading manufacturer and exporter of Polyethylene-based Films, is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Interpack Show 2023, the world’s largest and most important trade fair for the packaging industry. The show will be held from May 04-10, 2023, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
At the Hall 7.2, Booth No. B25, Specialty Polyfilms will showcase its latest portfolio of food overwrapping films, including its Forvara Meat & Fresh Produce Films, Mushroom Wrap, Cheese Films, Stretch – Shrink (End and Bottom Sealed) Films and Hoodit Stretch Hood Films.
Each of the films under the brand Forvara have been specifically designed to meet the unique packaging needs of the fresh cut meat, fresh produce, mushroom, cheese industry, providing optimum performance on Auto-tray wrapping machines from reputed machine manufacturers over the PET, Styrofoam Trays, and fibre trays.
Forvara Meat Wrap Films are better alternative to the traditional meat wrapping (PVC) films with plasticizers, stabilizers or any other chemicals harmful to human health. The film provides excellent breathability due to higher oxygen transmission rate and optimum water vapour transmission rate, which helps in preventing meat products from spoiling thus helping the meat to be red and fresh for longer durations. High elasticity and puncture-resistance of the films allows easy wrapping around the protruding bones and keep the films wrinkle free. This ensures that the meat product remain intact during transportation and storage.
Forvara Non-PVC Fresh Produce, Mushroom, Cheese Films are designed to protect fresh produce like veggies, fruits, sprouts, Mushrooms, cheese respectively during transportation & storage. These films include a unique micro-perforation that allows for optimal respiration of fresh produce while retaining the essential levels of water vapour transfer rates, which allows produce to stay fresher for longer durations. Our Forvara® Fresh Produce Films were successfully tested for shelf-life test. Customer concluded that with our Fresh Produce Films the shelf life of Mushrooms is better than conventional PVC films used by the Mushroom Industry. Forvara films does not contain plasticizers, stabilizers or heavy metals harmful to human health.
Bronze Winner PIDA Awards:
One of our Retail Chain Customers (largest in Australia) has won Bronze Award in Sustainable Category at 2023 PIDA Awards for Store Operations using our Fresh Produce Film for Fruit and Vegetables wrapping.
Specialty Polyfilms is a strong proponent of the ideology that the HoReCa industry should use Catering Films that are free from plasticizers or stabilizers because these chemicals can potentially pose health risks to consumers & the users when these films come into contact with food, which can negatively impact the reputation of the HoReCa Business and the overall industry. Polyethylene-based Forvara Catering/Foodservice films have gained popularity due to their numerous benefits. Due to their lower density and thinning compared to traditional PVC-based Catering /Foodservice films, these films provide plastic reduction and thus save money. Due to its optimum cling, Forvara Foodservice/Catering Films allows wrapping around catering trays and containers made of steel, glass, ceramics, polycarbonate, or any other plastic, making it ideal for commercial kitchens and foodservice operations.
“Our recent success is due to the fact that our portfolio of films is uniquely aligned with the current and pressing needs of increasing shelf life to reduce food waste, reduce plastic waste and recyclability in the meat, fresh produce, mushroom, Culinary and retail industry. We understand that each industry has its own set of challenges and requirements, and we have worked hard to develop products that can address these specific needs.” said Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, Marketing Director at Specialty Polyfilms.
Our recent product launches have been met with enthusiasm and positive reviews, and we are proud to see that our customers are enjoying the benefits of our innovative solutions.
